Our Senior Team is a curated, application-based senior experience that begins junior year and carries you all the way through your senior year—with editorial shoots, creative experiences, and photos that actually feel like you.

This doesn’t.

The Shutter Canyon Senior Team is a 14-month experience that starts in the Spring of your Junior year and carries throughout your Senior year—so you’re not just showing up for one shoot. You’re growing into it. Styling into it. Gaining confidence along the way.

You’ll create. You’ll have photo shoots. You’ll be part of a team.
And by the time your senior portraits happen, you won’t feel awkward—you’ll feel ready.

How the 14-Month Experience Works

Summer Before Senior Year

You’re officially a senior!

We photograph your Elite 3-Hour Senior Session.

This is your main, editorial-style senior shoot.

Senior Year

Additional team moments and curated sessions… such as a Fall Family session, Cap & Gown shoot and more.

A complete, guided senior-year photography experience.

Instead of one moment, you get a full journey – and photos that actually reflect who you’ve become over that time.

The Senior Team is curated each year. That means we may not accept everyone who applies.

Why? Because the experience, the group, and the energy matter.

We review applications for fit—not just availability—so the team feels connected and genuinely fun to be part of.

Being selected means you’re not just booking photos… You’re stepping into a 14-month experience that’s designed around you.

As a member of the Shutter Canyon Senior Team, you’ll be part of a 14-month senior experience, receiving exclusive access to experiences and perks designed to make your senior year unforgettable.

A team intro mini-shoot (Spring of Junior year)
A spring creative group shoot
An editorial senior portrait session (Elite 3-Hour shoot)
Additional curated shoots and team experiences
Priority access to booking dates
A complete, start-to-finish senior-year photography journey with more opportunities to be photographed, make friends, and celebrate this milestone moment.

This isn’t about stacking “extra shoots.” It’s about creating a senior year that actually feels meaningful—and looks incredible.

So... What does it cost?

The only required purchase to be part of the Senior Team is your Senior Portrait Experience.

All bonus photo shoots throughout the year are complimentary for team members.

Senior Team members receive a complimentary upgrade to the Elite Session, which includes up to 3 hours of photography instead of the standard 2-hour session.

This allows extra time for outfit changes, multiple nearby locations, and a more relaxed, creative portrait experience.

Senior Team members also receive priority booking for senior portrait dates and exclusive access to several creative photo shoots throughout the year.

Your Senior Portrait Experience is $900, which includes your portrait session along with your first collection of digital images and printed artwork.

After viewing your finished images, you may choose to upgrade to one of our larger Signature Collections if desired, with most families investing between $1,400–$2,300 depending on their artwork selections.

Payment Plans available:
Interest-free payment plans are available from $250 per month for up to 12 months

This experience is designed for families who value quality, service, and printed artwork.
